Dear Friends of RoR Munich.
It is with great sadness that we have to announce that the Ruby on Rails classes offered by us here in Munich have been suspended indefinitely. We currently lack the resources that we would need in order to provide a course that is meaningful and of high quality to our students. However we hope that if things change we might be able to start offering courses again in the future.
We would like to thank all the volunteers and mentors and everyone else who helped RoR Munich in the past years.
Refugees on Rails is a free of charge Coding School for refugees organized by a group of volunteers.
We are the Munich chapter of Refugees on Rails. With the help of many volunteers we have set up a free 15 week Ruby on Rails course for refugees in the Munich vicinity.
Checkout the projects the students have been working on our last course:
Do you want to support us as a volunteer? We are looking for all kinds of people to help us out. You don’t need to be a programmer to be a volunteer. There are many other exciting tasks that you can help out with.
Are you interested in learning Ruby on Rails? Then sign up now and we will get in touch with you. Don’t worry, you don’t need any previous programming skills in order to complete this course.
You do however need to spend roughly 8 hours a week on studying on top of the 4 hours you’ll spend in class each week for 15 weeks.
We have succefully completed the first two courses here in Munich. The next course is going to start soon. Please stay tuned!
